There was some building work going on during my stay, however, this didn't really impact on my stay. They have BBC Prime on the TV which is a nice touch if the weather outside is poor!
Top Tip
Great for Christmas markets and within easy reach of historic Basel.

i had a single room and was very pokey. the wash basen was inside a cupboard.there was no bedside table and had to get out of bed to turn on and off the lights.no brewing facilities and noise from traffic and trams meant i slept with the window closed.
Top Tip

A very comfortable stay in a pleasant small hotel. An unexpected bonus was free tram tickets for the period of our stay - although the hotel is central, this is a very practical way to get around which we used fully.

The one way system in Basel is difficult to negotiate but once you do, the hotel is excellent.
Top Tip
The hotel provides free access to all public transport in Basel which was unexpected but appreciated.

A clean and tidy hotel with comfortable rooms and in a convenient locatuon for the city centre. The staff were friendly, cherful and helpful. Rooms facing the main road are a little noisy due to the traffic. This is the only minus point. A good base for seeing Basle.
Top Tip
Bars and restaurtants away from the main tourist areas are better value for money, plus you get to meet local friendly people.

Well located. Friendly staff and service.
They compensate for the rooms, and the carpet in the corridor, that look rather old.
Top Tip
Walk to the historic part of the city on the other side of the river and follow your inspiration through the very narrow streets.
